You ever draw something wrong and feel reluctant to erase it because you like how it looks? That's Tatsuma's hair, here. It defies so many physical laws.
Actually, it always does that, nevermind. (It's just trying to fly away)

Nice symbolism there. So Tatsuma will hurt you and Sikue will make you better.

Yup yup! In more ways than one, probably

"In sickness and in health
til Death do us part"

... Yokiro, I will be VERY upset with you if you end up being Death... although that would also be very cool XD

(loving the colored pages and the whooshy Tatsuma hair <3)

Hiding blood-stained weapons in his bag; putting on a ruse that he was just some dorky fish-boy. The madman.

(Yay, thank you! c: )

So I wonder, does that needing each other to grow strong extend to Tatsuma & Sikue's physical bodies? Like, is it all a metaphor, or do they physically get weaker when separated?

That part in particular isn't too literal. Also note that she's toning down the language as if she's speaking to children, so potentially she could actually mean "they wilt when separated" or something. Or it may be metaphorical for something else, like emotional strength. I'll let people speculate :)

So in a way the two are connected more than being flowers turned humans. Interesting.

One hurts, one heals.

Lol. Tatsuma is still getting used to talking. "Mysterious" seems to be a challenge

She's playfully repeating words that sound interesting :') But yes, she didn't get it quite right

So, how long ago did this go down? If the Eternity Flowers don't age (their hair seems to be the only thing that changed) this could be ages ago, but if they do, I'd put it within the realm of 5 years at most.
And who is this woman???
Japster 28th July 2018 edit delete reply
Japster
Yeah, it says in the characters tab that their biological age is 16-17, but the chronological age is simply a question mark...
When was this?

Their relationship with this woman probably didn't last long, as she seemed willing to teach them plenty of things, yet they don't know what chalk is. I bet that the reason they didn't stay with mystery woman is somehow tied to that creepy guy that bosses Ginari around.

yes it is

Hehehe

Well, Sikue mentions pretty early on that their lives haven't been very long, so it's safe to say this can't be that long ago, either ;P
Japster 28th July 2018 edit delete reply
Japster
That's a matter of prespective. If they don't know what chalk is, we can't assume that they know what an average lifespan is.

But we do know that they have only been adventuring like this for about a year.
I'm not sure what we can do with this information

True, I guess you can't tell if they know the average lifespan. I can at least guarantee their age is nothing exciting like "1,000 year old immortals" :'D
