Ah yes, yet another classy and sophisticated opening, exploring the philosophical quandaries of the life's experience, and how different organisms might reach out to understand one another. Tatsuma's just too cultured.
_____
At this point, I tried inking pages traditionally because I wanted to test its effectiveness and I kinda miss drawing on paper. I learned the lines are thicker and rougher (my hands are so unsteady and life has no undo button @_@) By page 14, I got so frustrated with all the mistakes I was making that I went back to digital.

On the plus, I had an easier time drawing figures and making their proportions more accurate. Perhaps with the physical paper in front of you, you can better visualize/plan the height ratio instead of drawing them too short? They come out shorter in digital.

Anyway, I apologize for the lack of substance on this page, but there'll at least be 3 pages this week, since I got so much done!

Tatsy, stop eating grass. That's basically cannibalism.

I do like the look of the rough lines on the traditional inking, but I get why you wouldn't stick with it.

You can almost hear the tiny grass-screams.

Oh, that's very encouraging to hear! :)

Don't mock the sheep. If it learns you're a humanoid flower, it might take an interest in you that you don't want Tatsuma.

In terms of the art. I draw my comics traditionally and can say your ink lines are much better than mine. T_T
Have you tried drawing traditional, then scanning to ink digital?

Pfft-

Woaw, really? Your lines look so clean and consistent, though! Can't even find any jagged ink clumps XD You do a fine job with them.
I have done the sketch traditional, ink digital technique for the first two books, in fact. Somehow, things kept getting "squished" in the translation? (or maybe using smaller paper creates the same problem, lol)
Thanks for the comment :D

Most of my pages are huge when I first draw them actually. I then scan, tweak/edit, and color the pages, then shrink them down to fit what Tapas usually limits you to.

Aw gee, if it helps, mine were shrunk and 'cleaned up' a bit, too. Have a feeling many traditional artists do that.

This page is a Mood. Not just which mood, but Mood.

A sheepish Mood, perhaps.

Some may laugh, but Tatsuma is clearly functioning on a higher plane than the rest of a foolish mortals.
