When you close your eyes and imagine the sound of being surrounded by roaring, crackling fire, what arrangement of letters would you type on the keyboard to recreate that?
Somehow I got "WRooOOO" as a result back when I lettered this page. o.O Pfft-

Being in a fire filled building while barefoot might not be the best thing in the world. Though at least they have some shielding.

Definitely not, they really have to watch their step!

I'd probably write, like, "crackle"? That is an onomatopoeia, after all.

That woulda been good, along with "ROOOAR". An onomatopoeia definitely communicates sound more clearly, haha

The sound of popcorn~ (i kid XD)

The shield is super cool, it kinda reminds me actually of the little glass dome thing from Beauty and the Beast for the enchanted rose... appropriately enough XD

I love the shield too, it's amazing how you made it look like it's glowing with magic, even on a black and white page! :0 you're so great with this haha!

I dont know what being surrounded by fire sounds like (try asking some fire fighters)

I have a burn pit about 10 feet across that gets heavily used every few years by myself and some neighbors to clear storm damage and overgrown undergrowth. A large fire does have a thrumming sound. Small stuff and logs will have very different sounds. Small stuff, brush and shrubbery, is much louder. Wet logs and branches tend to whistle and pop more. Dry wood tends to have a soft roaring sound.

Hm...Maybe it does sound different to be surrounded. What a question to ask those firefighters

Yeah, when the fires get big enough, they can almost sound like dull thunder. The tricky part is figuring out what letters to use to imitate that sound! :'D

Hope that shield can protect them from the crumbling roof.
